Up in smoke

Saturday morning, the top unit of a 4 story concrete condominium caught on fire, which started from the bathroom. The fire itself did not travel outside of the unit but the surrounding units, as well as, the units below suffered from damages due to fire and water.

"Killing 2 birds with 1 stone"

Working well with Hawaiian Airlines for usual needs like mold and water damage, they also called SERVPRO Of East Honolulu to provide general building maintenance in their corporate office. This includes but not subjected to, bathroom sanitation, as depicted in the photo.

Bursted pipes and leaks

Multiple units at a Waikiki high rise condominium suffered water damage after a rupture in the main water pipe which runs straight through the building.
SERVPRO OF EAST HONOLULU hauled multiple units to the 5 connected condominiums - Working to make it "Like it never even happened."

SERVPRO utilizing advanced technology

SERVPRO of East Honolulu is proud to say that we have the newest in a line of highly advanced, game-changing washing systems designed to clean 90% of soft contents. The Esporta Wash System utilizes hydraulic action to force both organic and inorganic contaminants out of the objects to be cleaned. The force applied can be compared to the force of waves crashing against the sand on a beach.

Dining with MOLD

An American seafood restaurant chain contacted SERVPRO of EAST HONOLULU with a dire need of mold mediation.
The photo depicts the wall by dining area which is located directly behind the bar. Water leak from the sink at the bar caused mold to grow. Raul, owner of SERVPRO of EAST HONOLULU, is seen here discussing an assessment plan.
Being a restaurant, SERVPRO of EAST Honolulu sprung in to action to get the job done ASAP in order for the restaurant to continue serving the community in a timely matter with little interruption to their hours of operation.

Containment framework

A high end jewelry store in Waikiki, HI discovered mold growth in one of their small storage room. This photo depicts SERVPRO of East Honolulu's team preparing the work area by creating a containment barrier from the entrance of the store to the affected room.

The purpose of containment during mold remediation is to minimize and limit release of mold into the air and surroundings. Mold and moldy debris should not be allowed to spread to areas in the building beyond the contaminated site.
